It’s our company anniversary! Böckmann is 65 years old! 65 years of top-class quality! With the foundation of the family business in 1956, Brigitte and Anton Böckmann laid the foundations for a success story. The philosophy of the founders – "Only those who put their heart and soul into their work will be successful in the long term" – still holds true today and will continue to shape the Böckmann brand in the future.
It all began in 1956 in a small village smithy in Lastrup, when Anton Böckmann made his first own horse trailer to support his sons in their hobby, which was horse riding. In doing so he laid the foundation stone for Böckmann Fahrzeugwerke GmbH.
Further product innovations followed over the years. The range of horse and also car trailer models were created and developed further. One example is the first aluminium trailer that was launched in time for the Equitana 1971. The first truck series followed in 1985.
In the 90s and 2000s the focus shifted even more to other areas such as optimising the safety and travel comfort of horse trailers. The innovations of this period also included the WCF chassis and the MSS system. These innovations are still shaping the market today and are also used in contemporary Böckmann products in an advanced form. These include products such as the Portax models, which were brought to market for the first time in 2013 and have been continuously developed ever since.
We set standards with the introduction of the Neo range in 2019. The innovative manufacturing process, the completely new design and added benefits such as the revolutionary window concept show that our credo will also apply in the future: Böckmann – first class trailers.
Our horse trucks have also been developed further since the first truck range in 1985. Today the Böckmann horse truck range provides transport solutions from a Compact for two horses to a Big Equipe with accommodation and the possibility to transport up to 12 horses.
Böckmann is also a pioneer in the development of car trailers. In 2018, for example, the new platform trailer range was launched and the KT-P trailer was brought to market. In 2019, the new construction machinery transporters were successfully developed and launched. The launches of Böckmann's new KT-AL box trailer range and new tipper trailers were celebrated in 2020.

The highlight of the anniversary!
The latest transport solution from Böckmann was presented in time for the company's anniversary. The new Master is part of the relaunch of the Master family. For decades these vehicles have been appreciated across the board with their great design, unbeatable benefits, exclusive standard equipment and outstanding travelling comfort.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank you. Without a great dealer network and loyal customers, the success we have all achieved since 1956 would not have been possible. We are very proud of the great cooperation that has always been part of our history. We look forward to building on these foundations and many more years of cooperation and success with Böckmann Fahrzeuge GmbH in the future.
